Chicago Migrant Allegedly Stole $3K In Merchandise, Cut Off His ICE Monitoring Device

Jaime Ubaldo Obando-Andrade, 32, was arrested by Oak Brook Police and charged with one count of burglary and one count of retail theft after putting on a $400 jacket in an Oak Brook Macy’s and walking out without paying. Loss prevention detained Obando-Andrade until law enforcement arrived and while searching his vehicle, they found about $3,000 in merchandise and a fake Washington driver’s license. Obando-Andrade is an Ecuadorian migrant living in Chicago.
